According to what I read, the rupiah weakened again as predicted explosion of a nuclear power plant (NPP) in Japan by an earthquake and tsunami a while back.
 

Not earthquake-tsunami that affect the weakening of the rupiah in the trade in this time. but rather the radiation that will be generated and spread in some countries fear over nuclear power plant explosion in Japan because it will affect financial markets in several countries including Indonesia.


Explosion of a nuclear power plant will generate uncertainty in financial markets in some countries especially in Asia. So it was not because of earthquake, but rather the radiation caused by nuclear power plants "EXPLOSION"


As information, the rupiah, according to the exchange rate of Bank Indonesia (BI), a thin weakened toRp8.773 per U.S. dollar compared with the previous period in Rp8.771 per U.S. dollar.


Meanwhile, according yahoofinance, the rupiah weakened to Rp8.787, 5 per dollar, with daily trading rangeof 0.5 to 8 .822,5 Rp8.742 per U.S. dollar
